The world today demands a new kind of leadership—one that is resilient, agile, and future-focused. Amidst volatile geopolitics, rapid technological disruption, and evolving workforce expectations, enterprises are being compelled to rethink how they operate, compete, and lead. The traditional models of leadership no longer suffice; what’s needed now is a fundamental reset.
Against this dynamic backdrop, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be organizing the maiden edition of the National Leadership Summit on on 5th June 2025, at The Leela, Mumbai. This year’s theme, “The Leadership Reset: Building Future-Ready Enterprises,” reflects the critical need for enterprises to shift mindsets, rewire systems, and embrace leadership that is bold, collaborative, and adaptive. It is not merely about responding to disruption but about reimagining what it means to lead and create value in the future. To this end, this initiative also closely aligns with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision for structured, solution-oriented, and globally competent leadership, reinforcing the need to build leadership capabilities that drive India's economic progress and global standing.
The Summit will feature keynote addresses, high impact panel discussions, and interactive conversations that cut across critical leadership frontiers—from agility and transformation to technology, people, and resilience. Through curated conversations and shared experiences, participants will be equipped the foresight, tools, and collaborative outlook needed to build enterprises that are not only future-ready but future-responsible. The Summit will also convene India’s top business leaders, policymakers, and changemakers to reimagine leadership for the future.
This national initiative also coincides with the completion of 15 years of the CII Suresh Neotia Centre of Excellence for Leadership, an institution dedicated to leadership development and building competitiveness across industry. Over the years, the Centre has played a key role in equipping leaders with the skills and strategic thinking necessary to drive India’s growth and engage with global thought leaders to foster knowledge exchange.
