INDUCTION FURNACE
In the factory a medium frequency furnace of capacity 1x6 MT with 1x2 crucible are installed to
meet production target. Power of 3000 KVA is used for melting the scrapa For lining the furnace
acid/base refractory bricks are used depending upon the grade of steel to be melted.
SAND MULLER MIXER
A sand Muller mixer is installed to mix the sand for molding of 50 Kgs. Batch capacities to prepare
the sand for moulding sand mixed with additives binder and water. For casting of special jobs if
ordered
MOULD BOXES
For casting steel and alloy, molders are needed in which molten metal and after cooling it will be
separated from the mould. For this nos. of moulds of required size are needed.
PATTERN MAKING SHOP
To prepare moulds of any kinds of parts or jobs a wooden pattern are prepared. these pattern
are used to prepared the mould of particular parts in which casting is done.
DOUBLE GIRDER EOT CRANE- 3Nos.(i/c Magnetic crane)
It is to be used for placing the ladle in the place, where molten metal is poured in it and then to
moulds. It also be used for shifting furnace/moulds etc.
AIR COMPRESSOR
It is required to supply compressed air to machines operated pneumatically and also for cleaning
out risers and runners of moulds.
GRINDER
Used for removing the runners and risers or any other extra material sticking to the castings. It is
also used to fettle the casting.
CORE DRYING FURNACE
The moulds/core and drying before casting to avoid the difference in temperature of Poured pot.
So that explosion or cracking of molds are avoided.
GRANULATION TANK
2 Nos Water tank of 22’ dia and I No of 32’ dia is there for the purpose of cooling the granuling
molten metal, top of the tank are covered with RCC Slab.
GRANULATION GEAR
This is the Gear with hopper to pour molten metal for the purpose of granulating in cooled water
tank to manufacture shots and grits.
ROTARY FURNACE
After separating and screening the good pieces of casting are given to heat treatment by Bell
Furnace heated electrically.
DRYER AND ROTARY DRYER
There is 1 No Rotary Dryer LPG Fired, for the purpose of Drying the shots and Grits taken out
from the granulation tank.
CRUSHER
Shots and Grits are some times adhered with each other, these are separated by crushing it in
rusher.
ROTARY & Pr. SCREEN WITH HOPPER
At first stage of dried Shots and Grits are separated in different sizes by means of screening them
with the help of Rotary and Pressure Screen.
COOLING TOWER
During the process of Casting cooled water is circulated through Furnace which get hot during
the process and cooled in cooling Tower.
SUB STATION
Electricity supply to the Factory by CSEB Sub-Station situated in Siltara. A small sub-station is
situated within Factory premises bounded by barbed wire fence as per specification.
D.G. SET
To meet the requirement of Power at the time of Emergency/Power cutoff in the factory to run
emergency light/Pumps etc, a D.G. set of 50 HP capacity is kept in a lean to shed.
ELECTRIC MOTOR, FLY WHEEL AND GEAR ASSEMBELY
Heavy Electric Motor of 500 HP and more with Fly Wheel and Pinion & Reduction Gear assembly
attach with Roller Stand and be operated by means of ACB Air Circuit Breaker.
ROLLER STAND
Red Hot pieces of ingots are passes through Roller Stand of diff. sizes to make a required section
of Steel.
ROLLER CONVEYOR
To carry the red hot piece of steel from one stand to another roller conveyors are used.
ROTARY SHEAR
By means of rotary shear required length of moulded Steel Section are cut and pushed to cooling
be.
FURNACE OIL TANK
Furnace Oil used for firing the furnace are stored in Tanker of capacity 2x20 KL from where fed
to oil feeding Tank and then to Furnace by means of pumps.
PUSHER M/C
Steel Ingots are placed on pusher bed and by means of pusher m/c pushed in the Furnace.
OIL FIRED FURNACE
There is a Oil Fired Furnace 70 Feet long is used to heated Steel Ingots up to required 1100-1300
degree centigrade temp. so that ingot pieces can easily moulded in required shape of Steel
section.
RECUPRATOR, CHIMNEY & I.D. FAN
To achive the required temperature in furnace, Furnace Oil is used for firing, hence generated
smoke is carring to the atmosphere by means of I.D. Fan and Chimney after passing through Bag
Filter (Pollution Equipment).d
