The Reset Retreat (13–16 November 2025, Alila Bishangarh) is a four-day sanctuary for leaders ready to pause, reflect, and reset.
Designed by the Confederation of Indian Industry and Cultivating Leadership, for CEOs, Founders, and senior business heads, it offers a rare chance to step away from the noise and explore how to navigate, both the outer complexity of a turbulent world and the inner complexity of leadership.
Through reflection, nature, dialogue, and powerful frameworks, you’ll uncover new perspectives, design safe-to-fail experiments, and return with clarity, courage, and renewed direction, ready to lead with presence in uncertain times.
A RETREAT
NOT A CONFERENCE
Humans are wired for complexity. If we weren’t, we wouldn’t have led revolutions, overcome pandemics, and many other glorious examples of human genius amidst uncertainty.
But we’re also wired for survival. And when complexity triggers anxiety our nervous system hits the alarm. We default to control, speed, over simplification.
That’s why this isn’t just a learning space.
It’s a re-patterning space. Set amidst nature, this retreat is designed to quieten the sympathetic “fight or flight” state we so often live in, and awaken the parasympathetic state—the one that makes space for connection, creativity, and calm.

MARY BETH ROBLES

““Working with Mary Beth has been a pivotal experience in my leadership journey. Before partnering with her, I was grappling with how to evolve my leadership style to meet the demands of a more complex, high-stakes environment. I was effective, but operating predominantly in Achiever mode — always focused on driving outcomes, solving problems, and pushing forward. What I didn’t fully see were the blind spots this created. The ways in which I was showing up that impacted how others experienced my leadership, and the missed opportunity to lead more through influence, presence, and deeper connection.”

Principal, Large Public School District

Mary Beth believes that life is an adventure, and with that comes the promise of unknowns, risk-taking, and failureDShe provides support for leaders and their teams to see and grow their bigger selves by becoming more self-aware and more comfortable with uncertainty and change, by cultivating vulnerability, resilience, and reflection as companions along the journey. Mary Beth’s fierce compassion for leaders combined with her own background as a global corporate executive makes her uniquely skillful as a coach, trusted advisor and consultant for complex change.

Mary Beth draws on her experience and learning from 30 years of progressive international leadership at Colgate Palmolive. She has lived and worked in New York, Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, and New Zealand and understands the complex dynamics of leading an organization on the ground as Managing Director and also leading from the centre as a senior global corporate executive. During her tenure in Brazil, she was instrumental in Colgate’s single largest acquisition to date - the US $1 billion acquisition of Kolynos do Brasil, catapulting Colgate’s market share in oral care from 25% to 80%.At a corporate level, she set up Colgate’s Global External Innovation effort as well as a framework for accelerating the company’s Innovation Capabilities. This included the creation and stewardship of cross-functional Action Learning Groups charged with accelerating Colgate’s co-design and product development with external partners. Mary Beth also served as Chair of Colgate’s Global Innovation Fund.

Working with an outside partner, Mary Beth formed and led a global community of 60 facilitators within Colgate’s Global Technology Centers and CICs (Consumer Innovation Centers) to facilitate alignment across functional areas and geographic regions, accelerate delivery of innovation and intellectual

property, and bring more productive focus to creative brainstorming. She provided strategic oversight for business process innovation and systems support for Product Lifecycle Management.

She was the only senior executive trained to co-facilitate Colgate’s corporate change management initiatives. This led to other managers and leaders to step up and partner with HR/People Development to co-facilitate their own transformational change initiatives

Mary Beth joined Cultivating Leadership in 2017 and is a Board Member. Her portfolio of clients includes Google, 3M, Dell Medical, leading financial institutions and government in the U.S., Europe, Oceania, India, China, Singapore and Japan.

MANDIRA KALA

“Mandira’s coaching style has helped me accept & be comfortable with myself and be unabashedly authentic. This helps me trust my instincts better without being anxious and being able to understand and handle the voices in my head. I’ve also come to appreciate my innate strength upon understanding when to respond vs react. I am intentional about the way I want to show up and how I choose to respond to circumstances. It has made me more accepting of consequences and focus on the next growth edge rather than critical self-evaluation. Mandira’s coaching style has been extremely kind and welcoming which definitely helped me trust the process. I am glad I made this choice.”

Partner, Private Equity Fund

Mandira is at her best when accelerating change and growth in people, teams and organisations through the practice of conscious leadership. She spent more than a decade at PRS Legislative Research, an independent non-partisan research company as part of the core leadership team.
